The special team of Election Commission will tour Seven districts of West Bengal tomorrow to gauge the law and order situation in the State. The Districts they will cover are Burdwan, North 24 Parganas, Bankura, East and West Midnapore, Darjeeling and Howrah. The State’s chief Electoral officer Mr. Sunil Gupta told newspersons that the Election Commission’s representatives will discuss issues like illegal arms haul, election preparedness and the law and order situation of each of these Districts via Video Conference. The leader of scrutinizing team and Chief Electoral officer of Bihar Mr. Sudhir Kumar Rakesh arrived in West Bengal today to access the law and order situation in West Bengal.
