In Uttar Pradesh a team of Election Commission will be reaching Tuesday on its three day visit to the state to assess the poll arrangements for the ensuing forthcoming assembly elections in the state next year. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the Election Commission officials will be meeting top state officials and representatives of all the recognised political parties at the state capital. According to Chief Electoral Officer of State, the delegation of the Election Commission headed by the Chief Election Commissioner Dr. SY Quraishi will hold review meetings in connection with poll preparedness with all divisional commissioners and district magistrates on July 21. The EC delegation will also hold meeting with the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Home) and the Director General of Police.
