Election Commission has seized over 83 Crore rupees cash from the five poll bound states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand. <br/><br/>An official release said, the Commission has seized over 79 Crore rupees from Uttar Pradesh, four crore from Punjab, 33 lakh from Uttrakhand and around 7 lakh rupees from Manipur.<br/><br/>Election Commission has seized more than seven lakh litres of liquor from these poll bound states worth around 12 crore 6 lakh rupees. The commission has also seized more than 1400 kilogram of Drugs and Narcotics worth around 10 crore 30 lakh rupees.
