The Election Commission has made it clear that the results of Exit Polls can be disseminated only after 6.30 p.m. today. Election Commission Director Dhinerdra Ojha said in a statement in New Delhi that under Section 126(a) of the representation of the people Act 1951, the results of exit polls can be dissimated only half an hour after the polling ends in the last phase of elections.
