<span style="color: #222222;">Election Commission has rejected TMC's demand to club the remaining three phases of West Bengal assembly elections into one. In its reply to TMC leader, Derek O Brien, the Commission said the suggestion to club the poll date of phase 6, 7 and 8th is not feasible. The poll panel added that it has already mandated detailed guidelines to ensure that COVID safety norms are adhered to without any exceptions.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It also said that rallies and public meetings in West Bengal have been banned from 7 pm to 10 am besides extending the silence period from 48 hours to 72 hours in each of the remaining three phases.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
