The Election Commission has given its permission to the Prime Minister's 'Mann ki Baat' radio broadcast tomorrow with instructions that the programme should adhere to the Model Code of Conduct in force due to the Assembly polls in five states.<br/><br/>The Information and Broadcasting Ministry had approached the Commission to clear the broadcast of the monthly radio address due to the Model Code in place.<br/><br/>Sources said the Commission gave its green signal to the address with instructions that the Model Code should not be violated. They said the clearance was issued like in the past as it is an ongoing programme.<br/><br/>The Commission had also cleared the broadcast during Assembly polls in Maharashtra, Delhi and Bihar. Now, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry assemblies are going to polls beginning 4th of next month.
