The three member Election Commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath are on a day's visit to Gujarat today to review the state's preparedness for the ensuing assembly elections in Gujarat. They are holding meetings with all party leaders, State Election Commission, District Magistrates, Police authorities, Chief Secretary and Additional Secretaries of the state. The Election Commission is expected to brief the media in the evening.
