The Election Commission has issued photo-identity cards to all 10 lakh 25 thousand 490 voters in Goa to facilitate maximum participation of electorate in the Assembly elections.The Election Commission plans to complete distribution of Voters Slip to all eligible electorates by the 28th of this month.Joint Chief Electoral Officer of the state Narayan Navti told reporters in Panaji last evening that it will be mandatory for the voters to bring either the photo-identity card issued by the Election Commission or the Voters’ Slip at the time of polling. Goa will go to polls on the 3rd of March.
