A notification for the holding election to fill the Office of Vice President has beeb issued by the Election Commission . The Lok Sabha Secretary General and returning officer TK Vishwanathan today issued an public notice for the Vice President Election 2012. He said that the last date of filing of nominations is 20 of this month The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on 21 st of this month. while the last date of withdrawal of nomination papers is 23rd . According to Mr Viswanathan, polling , if required, will be on 7 th of next month from 10 AM to 5 PM. The counting will take place on the same day after polling.

The nominations papers may be filed between 11 AM to 3 PM on all working days.
