Election Commission has issued notice to RJD President Lalu Prasad for his alleged casteist remarks during poll campaign in Bihar. The Commission in its notice issued today, termed his remarks as the prima facie violation of Model Code and asked him to explain his stand by 6th of this month. <br/><br/>The notice was issued following the report of Chief Electoral Officer Bihar on the speech. At a public rally in Raghopur on Monday, RJD Chief had said that Bihar assembly elections is a war between the backward and forward castes. <br/><br/>He also commented against a particular caste. An FIR has already been filed against him in Vaishali district for his remarks.
