An Election Commission team, led by Chief Election Commissioner S. Y. Quraishi, will undertake a two-day visit to Punjab beginning today to take stock of poll arrangements in the state.A spokesman of the State Chief Electoral Officer said in Chandigarh that Dr Quraishi would be accompanied by Election Commissioners V. S. Sampath and H. S. Brahma.The team will meet representatives of various political parties. The Commission will also hold meetings with the Chief Secretary, the Principal Secretary-Home, the DGP and other officials to take stock of poll arrangements.
