The Election Commission has given one more day to Samajwadi Party President and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to respond to its showcause notice for his bribery remarks during campaigning. Replying to a media query Deputy Election Commissioner Vijay Dev said that the Commission has asked Mr Yadav to reply to its notice by tomorrow.<br/><br/>The Poll body had issued notice to Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday for his bribery remark. Mr Yadav, while addressing a meeting on Saturday in Bhadohi had said that the voter should keep the money given by the opposition parties but vote for his Party.
