Election Commission expressed satisfaction with the overall poll preparedness for the two phases Assembly election slated to be held on 4th and 11th of the next month. Talking to the media persons in Guwahati today Chief Election Commissioner, Dr.SY Quarashi said that Election Commission reviewed the election process with the political parties and Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, Director General of Police, Deputy Commissioners, Superidents of Police besides election officer. The notification for the first phase of polls will be issued on Thursday.
