The Election Commission of India has expressed satisfaction over election preparedness in Bihar. <br/><br/>After holding a review meeting with Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates of the state today in Patna, the Election Commissioner Mr. S.Y. Qureshi told reporters that the progress in the work of preparation of photo identity cards in the state is satisfactory. <br/><br/>The Commission instructed the State machinery to achieve a target of 90 per cent coverage of photo identity cards in the state by the end of July this year. <br/><br/>Replying to a question, the Election Commissioner Mr. Qureshi said the State Assembly election in the state will be held in time. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the Commission will hold again a review meeting in August this year.
