The Election Commission today discussed the security arrangements with Union Home Secretary G. K. Pillai in New Delhi for the Coming Bihar Assembly polls. Chief Election Commissioner S Y Quraishi and Election Commissioner V S Sampath held detailed discussion with the Home Secretary on the requirement of paramilitary forces to conduct the polls. The term of the 243-member Assembly will end on the 24th of November. The Commission has already visited the state and reviewed the poll preparations,including photo identity cards and revision of electoral roll.
