The Election Commission has directed , Union Minister of State for Overseas Indian Affairs Mr. Vayalar Ravi to reimburse the expenditure incurred on the Government facilities availed by him during his election tour to Kerala in violation of the Model Code of Conduct. <br/>Earlier, in his response to the Commission notice, Mr. Ravi in his reply on Monday had clarified that it was private visit and also expressed his regret for the lapse committed by his staff . The Commission also directed that necessary instructions be issued to the staff to be more careful in future. <br/>
