The Election Commission of India has cautioned political parties in Andhra Pradesh against use of huge quantity of unaccounted money in the elections. The full Commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner V.S. Sampath is in Hyderabad today to review poll preparedness in the state. Assuring that the Commission will take all the measures to ensure free and fair election in the state, the Commission learnt to have advised not to make tall promises, which are not possible to implement.
Meanwhile, the Commission is reviewing the poll preparedness with District Collectors and Superintendents of Police. It will also review the situation with the State Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police this evening.
