The Election Commission has started investigation into the sting operations allegedly showing Aam Aadmi party leaders Shazia Ilmi and Kumar Vishwas raising funds through illegal means. Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Dev said the Commission has received the CD from the media portal and started analysing it and action will be taken accordingly.

AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal, along with other party leaders, met the Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath and the Election Commissioners in New Delhi yesterday. They requested the Commission to stop circulation of the CD, alleging that it was violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
