The Election Commission also expressed displeasure over certain public utterances of Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi during poll campaign. The Commission asked him to be careful during election campaigns in future. In his speech in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan last month, Mr. Gandhi had said that Pakistan's ISI was in touch with Muzaffarnagar riot victims and had charged the BJP with indulging in politics of hatred.
The poll body had issued notice to Mr. Gandhi following a complaint by BJP over his remarks. In his reply, Congress Vice President had refuted the allegations.
