Election Commission of India today announced the schedule of bye-election to two Haryana Assembly Constituencies, Ratia (SC) and Adampur. Stating this at chandigarh today, Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Sumita Misra said that a notification to this effect would be issued on November 5, 2011 and last date to make nominations would be November 12. The nominations would be scrutinized on November 14 and last date of withdrawal of candidature would be November 16. Polling would be held on November 30 and votes would be counted on December 4. Mrs Misra said that Model Code of Conduct would come into force with immediate effect in the concerned areas.
