The Election Commission has announced the schedule for holding bye election to the Tamil Nadu Assembly from Pennagaram constituency in Dharmapuri district which fell vacant due to the death of the sitting member. The last date for nominations is till 10th of March. Scrutiny will take place the next day and last date for withdrawal is 13th March. Polling will be held on 27th of this month and counting will take place on the 30th.<br/> <br/>The Commission also announced holding of bye election to the Council of States from Uttar Pradesh to fill a vacancy due to the death of the sitting member Janeshwar Mishra. The notification will be issued on Saturday while nominations will be received till the 13th of this month. Scrutiny will take place on 16th and the last date for withdrawal is 18th March. Polling will take place on the 26th and counting will take place on the same day.
