In Andhra Pradesh, the Election Commission has found a total 281 nomination papers as valid for bye-elections to one Lok Sabha and 18 Assembly constituencies. After scrutiny of nomination papers yesterday, the election authorities rejected a total 84 nominations filed for the bye-elections.The last date for withdrawal of nominations is tomorrow. The polling will be held on 12th of next month. The bye-elections are necessitated following resignation of Nellore sitting Lok Sabha Member and disqualification of 18 sitting MLAs in the state.
