In Pakistan, an earthquake of moderate intensity rocked the northwestern city of Peshawar and its surrounding areas this afternoon. The local meteorological office said the quake measuring on the 5.7 on the Richter scale was also felt in Islamabad and northern areas. The epicenter of the quake was in Kazik Jaam area of Tajikistan. There were, however, no reports of human or material losses.
