In Himachal Pradesh, an earthquake of mild intensity rocked Rampur in Shimla district and Aani in Kullu district twice today, in the morning and again in the afternoon. <br/><br/>People ran out of their houses in panic. Some old buildings developed cracks although there is no report of loss to life. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent's report:- "According to local people, tremors felt ten to fifteen times in quick succession in Aani and Rampur areas in the morning. Although the met office in Shimla has confirmed three shocks of mild intensity in morning and one in the afternoon. <br/><br/>Due to fear of further shocks several people in Rampur and Aani areas are still out of their houses. All the schools were also closed as precautionary measure."
