An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck southern China near the Indian border today. United States Geological Survey (USGS) said, the quake, initially reported as a magnitude 6.7, struck at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers in the Xizang region of southern China close to the Indian border. <br/><br/>China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) also confirmed that earthquake hit Nyingchi, Tibet at 6:34 a.m Beijing Time today. According to CENC, the epicenter was monitored at 29.75 degrees north latitude and 95.02 degrees east longitude. Further details are awaited.<br/>
