Earthquake of high magnitude rocks Mexico: No reports of casualty

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake has hit the Mexican peninsula of Baja California which, US officials say, was also felt in Los Angeles and even in Nevada.The quake struck, 26 kilometres south-west of Guadalupe Victoria in Baja California, at a depth of 32 km, the US Geological Survey said. . There have been reports of broken windows and some structural damage but no word of casualties or major damage. The quake cut some power and phone lines, causing buildings to sway in the Mexican city of Tijuana, where Easter celebrations were interrupted as families rushed for open ground.Rides were temporarily suspended at the Disneyland theme park in California.
