A strong earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck Kyrgyzstan's capital area today. The Institute of Seismology of Kyrgystan's National Academy of Sciences today said the quake hit at 0755 hours ( local time). <br/><br/>Its epicenter was located in the village of Cholpon, 22 kilometres west of Kochkorka in Naryn province. Besides, the capital of Bishkek and the city of Tokmak were also hit by 3 magnitude and 4 magnitude earthquakes. No casualties have been reported.<br/>
