An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted northern Peru early today. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake occurred at 0415 hrs GMT and was centered 131 kilometers north-northwest of the town of Moyobamba at a depth of 125 kilometers. There are no immediate reports of any damage or casualties.<br/>
