In Indonesia, a 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted North Maluku province yesterday, but there was no immediate report of casualties. According to the website of Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, the epicenter of the quake was 116 kilometres in the northwest of Ternate, the provincial capital city, at a depth of 18 km under seabed.
