An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck the south-western Balochistan province of Pakistan early this morning. Reports say that many houses were damaged following the earthquake. The quake struck Sorab area in southeast of the Balochistan capital city of Quetta. There are no immediate reports of any casualties.
