A strong earthquake measuring 6. 4 on the Richter scale jolted eastern parts of Indonesia this morning. Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said the quake struck at 1:34 a.m. (local time) with its epicenter at 117 kms northwest Ternate of North Maluku province and at 91 kms under the sea bed. There are no immediate reports of any damage or casualties.
