The Indonesian government says it needs funds from the International community to help for the reconstruction efforts. Help has yet to reach many parts of the region and access to some villages has been cut off because of landslides. Some rescue teams are now slowly making their way to rural parts. Hundreds of people are believed to be buried there under scores of collapsed homes. The Indonesian Health Minister says the toll in last week's earthquake which struck West Sumatra could be as high as 3000 with tens of thousands left injured or homeless.<br/>
