External affairs minister, Sushma Swaraj, today said that she is personally monitoring the situation following reports of attacks on Indian students in Milan, Italy.<br/> <br/>Mrs Swaraj said in a tweet that she got the detailed report and is monitoring the situation personally.<br/><br/>The Indian Consulate in Milan also addressed the incidents of attack on Indian students in Milan through Twitter on Monday, assuring that the matter has been taken up with law and order authorities. <br/><br/>It said in a statement that the Consulate has received reports of incident of attacks on the Indian students in Milan and urged them not to panic. <br/><br/>It also also issued a helpline number to report any such incident so that it can take up the matter with the authorities. <br/><br/>The diplomatic mission advised students to be vigilant when they go out and spread awareness among other members of the community.<br/><br/>Several Indian students had complained that they were assaulted or subjected to racial slurs in Milan over the last few weeks.
