External Affairs Sushma Swaraj today defended herself against allegations of helping former IPL chief Lalit Modi saying she never requested or recommended travel documents for him.<br/><br/> In a series of tweets, Ms. Swaraj, said it was absolutely false that she spoke to British MP Keith Vaz to allow British government to let the former IPL Commissioner travel. She said as a Minister she is accountable to Parliament and that is the only forum to inform the nation about the issue.<br/><br/> Reiterating her stand, Ms. Swaraj said, she accepted a debate on the very first day of Parliament session but the Congress members are not allowing it.<br/><br/>The Minister is facing opposition flak as the parties are demanding her resignation for helping Lalit Modi get travel documents.
