External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba at Kathmandu and congratulated him for the successful conduct of recent elections. <br/><br/>Both the leaders discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations to take an ahead long-standing historical partnership between India and Nepal. Mrs Swaraj also called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Kathmandu. <br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj exchanged views with the President on advancing multi-dimensional India-Nepal relations. Earlier, Mrs Swaraj met CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda. <br/><br/>Both the leaders discussed steps to further deepen unique India-Nepal relations. Mrs Swaraj also complimented Mr Prachanda for his party's performance in recent elections.<br/><br/>Talking to media persons after the meeting Mr Prachanda said that India assured full support for political stability and l development in Nepal. <br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj also met Upendra Yadav, Chairman of Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal and discussed ways to strengthen India-Nepal bilateral relations, including enhancing people-to-people contacts. <br/><br/>External Affairs Minister arrived at Kathmandu yesterday on a goodwill visit to Nepal.
