Visiting Afghan President Ashraf Ghani will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a short while from now. Both the leaders will review the entire gamut of multifaceted bilateral strategic partnership. The two countries will discuss the efforts to combat the menace of terrorism. <br/><br/>They will also hold consultations and coordinate on furthering the shared objective of promoting peace, security, stability and prosperity in Afghanistan.<br/>Earlier, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani met President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati House. <br/><br/>External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj called on President Ghani . Both leaders discussed bilateral and regional issues. <br/><br/>The visit of Mr Ghani is crucial as it also coincides with the three-day India visit of US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who arrives later in the evening.<br/><br/>The Trump administration has shown keen interest to involve India with a much greater role for the peace process in Afghanistan.
