Jaishankar discussed bilateral and regional issues with his New Zealand counterpart Nanaia Mahuta today.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Both Ministers discussed shared vision of the Indo-Pacific, roll-out of COVID-19 vaccines and expectations about post-COVID recovery in a telephone conversation.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">They agreed to keep in touch for further strengthening of bilateral cooperation and for promoting peace, prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ms. Mahuta was appointed as the Foreign Minister of New Zealand on 6th of November last year after the landslide victory of the Labour Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She is the first woman and first Maori to be appointed as the Foreign Minister of New Zealand. She has more than 20 years of experience as a Parliamentarian.</span>
