Credit cards issued by banks with laminated photograph will now be accepted as proof of identity for travelling on e-tickets by the Indian Railways.According to an official release, the bank credit card is in addition to the existing seven proofs of identity for undertaking journey on e-tickets. This passenger friendly move will reduce inconvenience to the passengers.
