The e-Shram portal, an initiative by the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment is now being robustly implemented in Haryana. The Principal Secretary of Labour Department Rajeev Ranjan stated this in Chandigarh today. He said that this digital platform is set to revolutionize how unorganized workers, including agricultural labourers, street vendors, domestic workers, construction workers can access government benefits and welfare programs. He urged all the unorganized workers to register themselves on e- shram portal.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr Rajiv Ranjan said that each registered worker will receive a 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN), which is valid for lifetime, enabling them to avail benefits across the state and the country. He added, this UAN empowers them to access a variety of benefits, including those related to health, education, and other social security schemes.</span><br />
