China's wealthiest man and Alibaba founder Jack Ma has said that he is keen to invest more funds in India. Speaking at a FICCI event in New Delhi yesterday, he said he will work with Indian technology entrepreneurs as he believes Internet can transform the country's future. Jack Ma, who is on his maiden visit to India, said Alibaba is already working with many businesses in India. He said, Internet is a young business and India has a lot of young people.
World's biggest e-Commerce firm, Alibaba, which in September raised 25 billion US dollars in a record initial public share offering, already has on its site a large number of small Indian businesses selling goods ranging from spices to chocolates to tea. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Jack Ma said it is the best time for both nations to work together.
