Dy EC expresses satisfaction over Assembly Election preparedness in WB

The Deputy Election Commissioner Mr. Vinod Zutshi has expressed satisfaction over Assembly Election preparedness in West Bengal. Speaking to newsmen in Kolkata today Mr. Zutshi said that, all necessary steps have been taken to ensure free and fair voting. The Deputy Election Commissioner said that, adequate number of security force will be deployed during the polling while additional force will be engaged in vulnerable areas. He also expressed satisfaction over law and order situation in the State ahead of polls.Mr. Zutshi who is on a three day visit to the state met nine district administrations, going to polls on the first and second phase of election.AIR Kolkata correspondent reports, the first phase of Election will take place in 54 seats covering six North Bengal districts on next Monday. Campaigning is also going momentum in all the districts. The Trinamul Congress Chief Miss Mamata Banerjee addressed a number of election rallies in Coochbehar and Jalpaiguri in North Bengal today. The Chief Minister Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee also took part in a road show at his constituency in Jadavpur.
