In Uttar Pradesh, Neeraj Goel, the Dy Director General of All India Radio who was killed in road accident in Meerut city yesterday, will be cremated at Surajkund in the afternoon today. <br/><br/>Goel, aged around 50 years, was hit by a high-speed car on Meerut -Rohta road near Gagan Enclave colony, in which he was badly injured. <br/><br/>He was declared dead by doctors when brought to the Meerut district hospital. Goel has been survived by a wife and two daughters. <br/><br/>Family persons told that Mr.Goel was basically posted at Delhi but was deputed in Meerut to supervise the construction work of new station of AIR at Qila Road in the city.
