In Uttar Pradesh, dust storm and light rain lashed several eastern UP districts on Wednesday evening. Intense heat wave is continuing across the state while the humidity level has increased up to 80 percent. The met office has predicted thundershower and dust storm in several districts of central and eastern regions during next 48 hours. AIR Gorakhpur correspondent reports that the electricity demand has increased while the Bundelkhand and Vindhyachal regions are facing scarcity of drinking water. Several cities are also facing shortage of drinking water due to non-availability of drinking water.
