In West Bengal, Durga Pooja festival has reached its peak on 'Maha Astami' day today. In the morning people of all age wearing new cloth offered Anjali to Devi Durga. In the evening 'Sandhi Pooja' is beingperformed at various pandals. Thousands of people gathered at Belur math – the headquarters of the Rama Krishna Math and mission to witness Kumari Pooja.
