Duranto trains to have medicos

The Railways have decided to post medicos on board in each of Duronto non-stop trains. One general duty medical officer and one paramedical staff will be on duty in the running train. Ralways sources in New Delhi said that free of cost service will be launched on a pilot basis for a period of one year. Trains will also be equipped with medical equipment to attend to passengers falling ill.<br/><br/>At present, Railways run seven Duronto trains out of 14 announced in the Railway Budget. <br/>
