Dubai Open: Venus too good for Ana as top women's seeds crash out<br/>

The WTA Dubai Tennis Championships saw a series of upsets yesterday. Top seeds like Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland and Czech Petra Kvitova made a shock exit from the tournament, after losing in the Singles second round. While second seed Radwanska was stunned by Italian qualifier Flavia Pennetta, 4-6, 1-6, the third seeded Czech Petra Kvitova lost to Spain&apos;s Carla Suarez Navarro, 6-1, 4-6, 6-7. Fourth seeded Italian, Sara Errani crashed out, after she lost to Sorana Cirstea of Romania, 2-6, 7-5, 1-6.The match between former World Number Ones — Venus Williams and Ana Ivanovic — ended with Williams beating the Serb, in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.Caroline Wozniacki, Jelena Jankovic and Alize Cornet have made it to the quarterfinals. World Number One Serena Williams had, earlier, made it to the quarterfinals.
