Dubai has announced the discovery of a new off-shore oil field. In a statement the Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum today announced this and said that the discovery will contribute and provide in strengthening the economic capacities of the state along with increasing UAE's oil production.<br/><br/>He added that this will give a strong impetus to all sectors of the local economy and provide a new source of income enhancing the comprehensive development of Dubai. The new field is located east of Rashid field.<br/>
