Hailing outstation candidates as the strength of the University, Delhi University Vice Chancellor, Deepak Pental today said that a centrally funded University cannot be expected to cater to a specific region only. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi, he cleared all doubts about the semester system that will be introduced in the science courses from this year. Mr. Pental said that the new system will bring about regular assessment of students. <br/><br/>Replying to a question on limited hostel facilities, he said that two new hostels will come up in Dhakka in a few months. The Vice Chancellor expressed hope that the admission process will go completely online from the next year.
