Delhi University proposes to organise an open discussion between teachers,students and parents to clear the air about implementing the semester system. Science teachers of the university held a general body meeting yesterday,which decided that thay will ask the Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) for an open house discussion with parents and teachers on the semester issue. Amid strident protest from various departments over the proposed syllaby,Vice Chancellor Deepak Pental recently announced that 12 under-graduate science courses will follow the semester from the next academic session beginning July. Other courses will follow suit over a period of time.
