Amid continued standoff between the Delhi University,DU and University Grants Commission, UGC, several colleges have decided not to come out with cutoff list for admission scheduled to begin today. AIR correspondent reports that the escalating war between UGC and DU compelled the students to wait for desired admission.

Meanwhile, the UGC, has issued a reminder to Delhi University to submit the compliance report on its direction for the rollback of the contentious four-year undergraduate programme, FYUP.

Earlier, the government made it clear that it will not intervene in the row and asked the UGC and DU to resolve the matter between themselves and ensure that precious time of students is not wasted.
